Medical student Amy Brenner is assigned to spend the night shift on Ward D — the locked psychiatric unit of her hospital. She expects a long, uncomfortable night. What she doesn't expect is fear. The patients seem unpredictable. The staff act strangely. And as the hours pass, Amy begins to suspect that something far more dangerous is happening behind the ward's locked doors. But when the night takes a terrifying turn, Amy realizes she may not make it out until morning.
